About PetitMaker

PetitMaker is an unofficial, fan-made map-planning tool for the game Petit Planet. It is not made or operated by the game's publisher, and it speaks only for its own small team.

Mission

PetitMaker lets you plan a map in your browser, laying out terrain, water, roads, and objects on the same grid the game uses, so that you can design a layout here and then rebuild it in-game with confidence. Every map you design is intended to be 100% replicable in Petit Planet itself.

PetitMaker began as a small volunteer effort by players who wanted a faster, calmer way to plan a build before laying it down in-game. It has grown from that need rather than from any commercial goal, and it remains a non-commercial fan project made in players' spare time.

PetitMaker is built by a small volunteer team of players. Each member's Bilibili space is linked below. Names are in alphabetical order, which is not a ranking.

Technology

PetitMaker is a browser application built with TypeScript, React, PixiJS (for the 2D editor), and three.js (for the 3D preview).

How it works. The tool runs entirely within your browser: it is a static, single-page application with no backend and no user accounts. Your maps are held locally, in your browser's storage and in the files you choose to export, and are not stored on our servers. There is nothing to sign up for, and there is no central copy of your work for us to hold. The optional AI Agent works on an API key you supply and sends requests directly from your browser to the provider you choose; how that data flows is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Filing Information

PetitMaker is operated by PetitMaker Team. Where a jurisdiction requires it, for example mainland China's ICP or PSB filings, the corresponding registration numbers and links appear on the About screen and in the page footers when they are configured. We display no filing number that we do not actually hold; until a filing exists, no such row is shown.
